(THURSDAY, March 4, 2026) – The Iowa Federation of Republican Women (IowaFRW) Program Committee is meeting regularly to plan interesting and inspirational events for our members during 2026, with a big dose of fun built into every program, and an eye toward accessibility for our 600 members river to river.

“We have three statewide events in various stages of programming set in three of Iowa’s Congressional districts to accommodate the needs of our members across the state,” said IowaFRW President Denise Bubeck, Grimes. “Our statewide efforts will also include participation in the America 250 events and the Iowa State Fair.”

“We are making a concerted effort to move our events around the state to share the excitement and exposure with all our members,” Bubeck added.  “While the Des Moines area is centrally located and we often host gatherings there, we have hundreds of members in clubs all throughout Iowa, and we to make sure we are spotlighting them as well.”

Legislative Day

“The IowaFRW Legislative Day at the Capitol is a high point each year for our members and guests from across the state,” said Pearson, Cedar Rapids. “We look forward to spending the day at the beautiful Iowa Capitol and meeting with our legislators and elected officials, including fellow IowaFRW members Governor Kim Reynolds, Lt. Governor Chris Cournoyer, and Senate President Amy Sinclair.”

Spring Conference

“Cedar Rapids is delighted to host the IowaFRW Spring Conference on April 17. Many prominent Linn County residents are members of the Federation including Congresswoman Ashley Hinson, Cedar Rapids Mayor Tiffany O’Donnell, Linn County Supervisor Chair Brandy Meisheid, and Iowa Rep. Cindy Golding,” said Hames-Bryant, Cedar Rapids. “The conference theme is ‘America 250-Women Lead the Way’ to showcase women’s efforts in creating America and the impact of Republican Women going forward,” she concluded.

Fall Conference

“I’m especially excited about the Sept. 25 event,” said Leonard Reyman, Holstein. “It’s close to my hometown here in Western Iowa, but what’s really special is it’s in a smaller, rural community, which we don’t often get to do. And most importantly, we are honored to be hosting the final leg of Governor Reynolds’ good-bye tour with our ‘Trailblazer Tribute’ to her. We chose Manning because this is an area where we’ve never hosted a statewide event, and it is a showcase of what Iowa’s hometown pride and rural work ethic is all about.”
