The Iowa Federation of Republican Women proudly announces the formation of another new club, the Northwest Iowa Republican Women. They have been meeting throughout the summer and fall to develop programs, elect officers, and establish their bylaws. With 27 members currently from Sioux City and surrounding areas – including Woodbury, Plymouth and Ida counties – the NWIRW will officially become the newest federated club in the state at the IowaFRW biennial convention this weekend.

“The level of interest among conservative women on issues of the day has been amazing,” said NWIRW President Suzan Stewart from Sioux City. “For the first time in many years, we will have a Northwest Iowa area club, which is a great way for members to learn about candidates, issues, and elections, and band together to elect Republicans and advance conservative values.”

Gwen Ecklund, IowaFRW Club Development Chair and past IowaFRW president, said, “Northwest Iowa Republican Women are well-informed and highly motivated and we are excited for them to join our nationwide federation. Members of federated Republican Women clubs are also members at the state and national level, joining thousands of like-minded patriots across the country.”
