IowaFRW launched the Women for Reynolds Coalition and Strike Force in July to support Iowa’s first female governor and our long-time fellow member Governor Kim Reynolds in her election in November. Governor Reynolds’ opponent, and the whole of the Democrat party in fact, are determined to oust her and she needs our full support.
All IowaFRW current members will be contacted via email and/or phone by August 10 to ask you to: 1) Join the Coalition, and; 2) Volunteer in some way. This could take many forms and you may commit as much time as you are able. Examples of help needed are: phone calling; door knocking; distributing and posting signs; helping at events; and especially participating in upcoming IowaFRW Strike Force days in August, September and October. These dates are yet to be set by the governor in conjunction with President Gloria Mazza. Strike Force warriors will participate in a phone call with the governor personally on each of those days.
President Mazza appointed Cindy Golding and me to co-chair the Coalition and Strike Force. Please contact one of us if you have questions or want to volunteer. As part of this process, we are also updating contact information.
Only by communicating and working together are we able to fulfill our mission of electing Republicans up and down the ticket. If you are a current member who has paid your dues – and you do not hear from one of us in the next two weeks – this likely means the contact information we have for you is out of date (or you forgot to pay your dues). Please, please reach out to us so that we stay connected.
