Sky News Australia, based in Washington, D.C., interviewed Iowa Federation of Republican Women members during their biennial convention Oct. 8-9 in Des Moines. Australian reporter Annelise Nielsen was in Iowa to cover several topics for Sky News, including jobs numbers and employee shortages, the Trump Rally, and Republican women’s views on the current administration and future elections. IowaFRW President Barbara Hames-Bryant and IowaFRW Immediate Past President Gloria Mazza were featured, along with footage of the IowaFRW Executive Committee meeting. The leaders gathered for their executive meeting the night before the convention, pledging their allegiance to the USA, sharing a meal, and toasting Republican accomplishments in 2020-2021. Members of the IowaFRW Executive Committee, in addition to Hames-Bryant and Mazza, are: Carol Crain, Lori Leonard Reyman, Amy Meskimen, Tammy Pink, Deb Foster, Gwen Ecklund and Kathy Pearson.
